How to make your Child a Reader!!

1/ START EARLY

2/ Don't be discouraged if your baby isn't listening or fussing around.

3/Read loud clear and  be animated

4/ Repeat. Kids love repetition .

5/ Make it a part of you and your kid daily routine.

6/ Surround your kid with little books . Hang some in his stroller, car seat and even his bath tub

7/ Engage your baby while reading show  him/ her the pictures on the pages explain what are you seeing. Point at it and let them point and play with the book as well.

8/ Make it a habit of buying them lots of books. And let them even choose what book they would like to buy

And now grab a book & have fun reading :-)

Yogis Baby

So my baby is gonna be a Yogis!
Babies are natural yogis!

-A baby can develop through yoga poses, and it can aid their motor skills.
-Yoga helps to improve sleeping patterns, as well as encourages sleeping through the night.
-Yoga poses and stretches for infants aid in digestion, constipation, and relieve gas and colic.
-it promotes bonding between parents and babies.
-Soothing techniques teach parents to help babies to calm themselves.
-Increases body awareness, both for baby and parent.
-it is a great way for Moms to strengthen their bodies, calm their minds, feel relaxed, and get back in shape.
-it reduces stress for both parents and babies.
-It creates balance between strength and flexibility in developing bodies, so they grow strong and maintain the flexibility they are born with.
-Initiates social interaction in a non-competitive environment for both babies and new parents
-it's a great way to meet other new Moms and Dads.
-Healthy habits learned early in life become healthy habits later in life.

So me & my baby love yoga!

Top 10 reasons for having kids!

Well most parents know that having kids is the toughest job, and perhaps sometimes miss their previous stress free life but and A big BUT, this is what having my precious baby taught me the last 4 months :

1/ To enjoy & cherish my 2 minutes morning cup of coffee even more than before.

2/ To be creative trying to find ways to distract my baby when crying

3/To Do lots of funny faces and sounds. Yes I became a comedian!!!

4/ To be more easy going and handle stressful & embarrassing situations more lightly .

5/To laugh a Lot. Especially At myself.

6/ To run all my errands with the baby hanging from my sling and with my messy hair ,no make up and sometimes with my PJs shuuuuu

7/ To forget about being ON Time no matter how hard I try.
8/ To call my baby all the silly names that I promised I would NEVER do e.g. "Honey Bunny" "Sweet Cheeks"

9/To accept having a mess around the house +pile of  dirty dishes+ loads of un done dirty laundry.

Last but not least
10/ let's not forget the Top skill I've learned and should I say Mastered is of course "Singing". you  name it, and I can sing it loud and clear.

Feel free to add

One more thing to add.....
I've learned to forget all the sleepless night, all the crying and nagging, all the stress and everything else when seeing my little one looking me in the eyes, with a huge smile :-)
